Starlink

The Starlink router has no Dynamic DNS setting, and on home plans Starlink shares one IPv4 address between many customers. That means nothing at home can be reached over IPv4, with any provider.

IPv6 does work. Starlink gives every home its own IPv6 addresses, so HonkIP can point your name at them:

  1. Pick a device at home that's always on, like a PC, NAS or Raspberry Pi.
  2. Set it up with the Windows or Linux guide. Both send your IPv6 address too.
  3. Reach your home from networks that have IPv6. Most mobile networks do.

Need IPv4 as well? Starlink's business plans can include a public IPv4 address, and then any guide here works.
