Privacy

HonkIP runs HonkIP. We keep as little about you as we can, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

What we keep

• Your email address, to sign you in and send you important messages.
• Your password, stored only in scrambled form. We can't read it.
• Your names and domains, and the settings you choose.
• Your home's internet address and when it last changed. This is what makes your name work, so it's public: anyone who looks up your name sees it.
• An update log of recent address changes, kept for 90 days, so you can see what your router is doing.
• For domains you buy here, the owner details the domain registry requires.

What we don't keep

We don't see or log your internet traffic. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie keeps you signed in.

Who helps us

• DigitalOcean hosts our servers in London.
• Brevo sends our emails.
• Dynadot registers domains you buy through us.
• Our payment provider handles card payments. We never see your full card number.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you or delete everything we hold about you. When you delete your account, your names stop working and your data is removed within 30 days, apart from payment records the law says we must keep.
