Set up any router using an update link

Some routers ask for a single web address (URL) to call when your address changes, instead of a server and password.

1. Sign in to HonkIP and open Setup → Any router: update link (URL). Your link is there with your key filled in.
2. Paste it into the router's update URL box and save.
3. If the router lets you add its own address to the link, use the second version on that page and swap the part in brackets for your router's word for "my IP".

You can also open the link in a browser at home to set your address once.
